“She was alright when she left here” (so she was)! Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ll know that the famous Titanic was built and launched in Belfast, not far at all from where we live and grew up.
So off we went on a sunny Saturday with the Lagan Boat Company on their Titanic boat tour to see and hear about it!

This week’s Super Sunday happened to coincide with one of the European Heritage Open Days. During these days hundreds of properties open their doors, with many being free of charge for admission. One of the heritage sites, Grey Point Fort is right on our doorstep, although we had never been, so what better opportunity to pay a visit!

Nicola isn’t what you’d call ‘the camping type’ so it took some time convincing her to let me buy a tent!! A field in the middle of nowhere was a complete deal breaker. After a bit of research we found Watertop farm. It had toilets, hot water, and plenty to do nearby, so off we went.
